Performance & Orthopedic Physical Therapy
You’re not looking to stop doing the activities you love, you’re looking for a way to keep doing them without pain getting in the way.
At Ridgeline, we work with active adults navigating injury, recurring pain, or performance limitations. Our approach blends education, movement, and individualized care to help you reduce symptoms, restore function, and continue building toward your goals. We get it, movement is the thing that makes you, you.
We focus on helping you stay active while we figure out what your body needs to feel and perform better.
Don’t think it’s possible for you? We’re here to help you find out.
“Strength doesn’t come from what you can do.
It comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn’t.”
— Rikki Rogers
Who Ridgeline Works With
This care is a good fit if you are:
• A runner, hiker, climber, skier, cyclist, or recreational athlete dealing with pain or injury
• Someone experiencing recurring or nagging pain that keeps coming back when you try to stay active
• An active adult recovering from surgery or returning to sport
• Navigating strength, mobility, or performance limitations that are affecting how you train or move
• Postpartum or managing pelvic health concerns while trying to stay active
• Someone who has tried rest or traditional care, but still doesn’t feel like themselves in their body
You don’t need to be “high level” or competitive, just someone who wants to keep moving well and stay active for the long run.
What to Expect With Ridgeline Care
-
Your first visit is a comprehensive 60-minute assessment that incorporates conversation, movement, and special tests when appropriate.
A large focus of the initial session is to understand who you are as a person, your concerns, your beliefs and your goals. How you move is a very important piece of the puzzle of course, however, we will also discuss other lifestyle factors that may be impacting your pain and/or potential for optimal recovery.
By the end of the session, the goal is to better understand what's contributing to your symptoms, identify strategies to help reduce pain, and establish a clear path forward.
-
Together, we'll create an individualized plan of care that fits your goals, lifestyle, and the activities that matter to you.
The treatment plan may consist of education, skilled exercise progression, short-term activity modification and/or pain reducing manual techniques (dry needling, cupping, joint mobilization).
Rarely will you be told to completely stop doing what you love. Instead, we'll look for ways to keep you moving through thoughtful load management, training adjustments, and strategies that support recovery.
-
As you move through care, treatment evolves with you. We'll build strength, restore movement, and gradually increase your capacity for the specific demands of your sport, training, or everyday life.
Follow-up visits usually range from 1-5 spread among many weeks or months, depending on your desires and your condition.
The goal is to help you understand your body, build confidence in what it can do, and return to the activities you love feeling stronger and more resilient.
-
There's really no traditional "discharge" from care at Ridgeline. Even after you've returned to your activities and are feeling better, we want you to know you can reach out with questions, concerns, or new goals along the way.
Our goal is to be a long-term resource and support system for your movement, health, and performance, because staying active is a lifelong pursuit.

The clinic is inside Seacoast Athletics, however the office space is completely private and has a separate entrance if needed. This allows privacy for the situations that require it!
I will always ask the patient if it’s okay if we go out into the gym area if I feel like that is indicated - most love it! There is a separate area we utilize with weights and bands for physical therapy. It definitely doesn’t feel like a traditional PT clinic but it’s awesome!

Not at all! I am very passionate about using movement to address pain and dysfunction, however that looks very different for everyone. My goal is to find movement and treatment that you find enjoyable and valuable in your journey. And sometimes, movement isn’t the most essential part of our treatment. It all depends!
