Pregnancy & Postpartum Performance Therapy
You regularly worked out before pregnancy and now you are unsure of how to proceed through movement and returning to what you love doing without pain or injury.
Our care can start before or during pregnancy and is most essential in the postpartum period to reconnect the pelvic and abdominal muscles to optimize movement. Rebuilding a strong foundation will allow you to push performance goals just like you used to before baby was here!
Feel strong and confident through
pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.
You deserve to feel supported, informed, and confident in your body through pregnancy, postpartum, and every step back to the movement you love.

What to Expect With Ridgeline Care
-
Your first visit is a comprehensive 75-minute assessment focused on understanding you, your body, and your goals. We'll talk through your health history, pregnancy or birth experience, current symptoms (if any), activity level, and what you're hoping to continue or return to.
We'll also complete a movement assessment tailored to where you are in pregnancy or postpartum. Depending on your needs, this may include evaluating breathing mechanics, core and pelvic floor function, strength, mobility, and movement patterns that are important to your daily life or exercise routine.
By the end of your visit, you'll have a better understanding of how your body is functioning, practical strategies to support your goals, and a clear plan for moving forward.
-
Every pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience is different, which is why your care should be too.
Together, we'll create a plan that fits your goals, lifestyle, and the activities that matter most to you. Whether you're preparing for birth, navigating early postpartum recovery, managing pelvic symptoms, or working toward returning to running, lifting, hiking, or another activity you love, your care is built around your unique needs.
Your treatment plan may include education, individualized exercise, hands-on treatment, birth preparation, breathing and movement strategies, and guidance for safely progressing activity throughout pregnancy and postpartum.
Our goal is rarely to tell you to stop moving. Instead, we'll help you modify, adapt, and build confidence so you can continue staying active whenever it's appropriate for you.
-
Pregnancy and postpartum bring constant changes, and your care should evolve alongside them.
Whether we meet a few times during pregnancy, support you through the early postpartum period, or continue working together as you return to higher levels of activity, we'll adjust your plan as your body and goals change.
Our goal is to help you feel informed, confident, and supported, not only during pregnancy and postpartum, but long after this season of life as you continue building strength and enjoying the activities you love.

Yes, you definitely can and this is how a lot of clients choose to pay!
-
No. An internal pelvic floor exam is never required, and we'll always discuss your comfort level before deciding whether it's appropriate.
In many cases, we can make excellent progress using education, movement, hands-on treatment, and external assessment alone. If an internal assessment would provide helpful information, we'll explain why and let you decide whether you'd like to proceed.
-
Anytime.
Some people begin before becoming pregnant to prepare their body for pregnancy. Others come throughout pregnancy for birth preparation, exercise guidance, or support staying active without pain.
You can also begin care shortly after giving birth or even years later. Whether you're preparing for birth, recovering postpartum, or returning to the activities you love, we'll meet you wherever you are.
-
Every plan of care is individualized, but if you're feeling well and looking for proactive support during pregnancy, many people benefit from around 3–5 visits, with additional sessions as needed.
Postpartum care often begins around 4–6 weeks after birth, although earlier visits may be appropriate depending on your needs. Some people only need a handful of sessions, while others continue longer for ongoing guidance or transition into Ridgeline Performance programming to keep building strength and confidence.
Our goal isn't simply to reduce symptoms—it's to help you move well, stay active, and feel confident in your body for the long term.
